What this site collects

This is a personal portfolio site. It does not use tracking cookies, sell data, or share information with third parties for advertising. The only data this site handles is:

• Contact form submissions (name, email, subject, message) — sent via Formspree or EmailJS, depending on which is configured. See the README for details on which service is active.
• Standard web server logs from whichever host serves this site (e.g. GitHub Pages, Netlify), which may include IP address and browser type, as is standard for any website.
• If privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible, Umami, or GoatCounter) is enabled, aggregate, non-cookie-based visit statistics may be collected. Check the commented block near the top of index.html to see if this is active.
• A single local-storage entry (db-theme) to remember your light/dark mode preference. This stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Contact form data

Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your message. It is not added to any mailing list or shared with anyone else.

Third-party services

This site may load fonts from Google Fonts and, if the contact form is configured that way, submit data to Formspree or EmailJS. Each of those services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data passed through them.

Your choices

You can clear the db-theme local-storage value at any time via your browser's site settings. If you've submitted the contact form and would like your message deleted from Formspree/EmailJS's systems, email the address in the Contact section directly.
